Chinese New Year Holiday

I went to Sentosa during my holiday. Inside Sentosa, it felt like heaven. I went to the 'the biggest aquarium'. there were tiny fishes, medium sized fishes, big fishes, puffer fish, tube fishes, sea horse, mantle rays, giant sharks etc., If you ask me, I would say I felt that I was in the sea itself.  I started this journey in the longest queue I saw. I went to Mount Faber to go to the "Jewel Box". The trip in the cable car was 10 minutes if I am not wrong. I did get to see the Virgo cruise when I went in the cable car as the cable car was covered with glass. The lunar new year decorations were awesome!!!. Snakes here, Snakes there, Snakes everywhere.! First we went to the cable car museum. Then we went to the tiger lookout or whatever its name was. Then we went to one more museum. They showed a lot of ship merchants and goods from Thailand, India, Srilanka and many others. At last we saw a show about a man from China who brought goods to interact with the other cou...

The frog

It was late night. I could not sleep as the unusual frog noise kept bugging my ears. I kept tossing and turning in my bed. Finally I slept. "Rrring!" My clock rang for the twentieth time. I sighed. I rolled in the bed before falling on the ground,I sighed again. I groggily looked at the clock. "Oh my gosh!! It is 7:35am. I will be late for bus". I ran down the stairs in my house right before falling and rolling down the the ground with a sickening thud. I ran to the toilet just before tripping over my brother's toy. I stood up and got in the toilet, brushed and bathed. I put on my dress (in the wrong way) and went to school. "Ding Dong!!" The school bell bellowed like two bulls. Even after covering my ears, I could hear them. I groaned when i ran to the class, on the way I fell. Where? Right in 'mud poop'. The teens call it 'mud poop' as it looked like the mud has pooped. Those teens in my school are crazy. I cleaned myself before an...

Life Saver

I looked around. "Help!!!" The words echoed in my brain. I found some one splashing in the water. I swam faster to find who was it in curiosity.  It was an young plump boy. The swelling around his waist line was outrageous. He wore a speedo undergarment with blue trunks. His face showed signs of frustration, perspiration and anxiety. His white hands swayed in the air trying to find for help and support. I jumped out of the pool and grabbed the life buoy which was hung on the wall by a hook. I flung it to him and luckily he got hold of it and came out. His mother who was coming running for him, thanked me and some one who were trying to help him profusely before they went back home.It turned out that he had been playing near the pool and fell into the pool.  I, the captain of a swimming team, was too tired and after doing such a great deed. Finally found an excuse for me and my team from exercising.
