From foes to friends

He was crying again, not because of his injury but his bully Lakshita. An notorious girl she was, but only Primary 2. I sighed! Vaishnav was complaining again about her and I could not do anything to stop a P2 girl even though I am a P5!! Hearing his moarning, I got disturbed a lot and could not watch TV anymore. I switched it off and tried to console him. I offered to play soccer, or skater boy, or a pillow fighting game.
After a game, Vaishnav became calm and we started to concentrate on our school work. Mom and Dad came back from work and Vaishnav complained about Lakshita and the bully incident. "I will tell Mr.Bala, like I did before when I was bullied", I suggested". "No! you won't! so you go and do your school work before its deadline", stern instruction came over. I argued for a while, and then my family came to an fruitful agreement.
The next day, when Vaishnav came back home, he was happily singing his favorite tune. I was not sure what was happening that cheered him so much. I asked about the bully issue and the bus but he walked away with a secretive smile. It was kind of wierd for me, but I ignored.
week later, I got hold of his secret. I heard that Vaishnav had been talking to Lakshita, showing respect to each other and playing with each other in a friendly manner. I even figured it out that he was sharing my jokes to Lakshita. They became friends finally. If not for his act, I could have missed all my TV programmes. But one day, friendship the best of all relationships.
Few days after, when Vaishnav and Lakshita were walking towards the hall, Mrs Lim stood in front of them and asked about the fight in the bus and tried to tower them like a cat towering two mice. It was told to her by the bus driver uncle. Both lauged and said "Sorry Mrs Lim, that was long back and now we became close friends" Lakshita piped up. Mrs.Lim was happily smiling at them while they happily walked holding hands.
