Robbery in the toy shop
"Hey! Look at the teddy bear!", my younger sister squealed. We were in a toy heaven. Every row had different toys - teddy bears, sports equipment and even toy helicopters! My mom was greatly astounded. I could see her widened eyes. My sister was searching doll by doll for the perfect one. From baby to teenage dolls. Forget her! I took the biggest helicopter and put the box in the trolley. It was a double power K-SS7 heli. We bought the toys and quickly went out. I did want to play with the helicopter so badly. I was desperate. Sadly, we are in NEX Shopping mall, not in an open field where the air is free for take off. I followed mom towards the escalator. Suddenly, I heard a loud shrill voice breaking the low murmurs of the customers in the mall. I turned around in wonder and shock. In front of me at the counter of Toysrus, a woman in her late 50's was wearing a shocked expression on her frail looking face. A few paces in front of her, a man in his early 20's was sprinting across the shops towards the escalator. in his right hand, he had a polar soft toy and on his left he had an expensive LV bag. He held onto it like even a strong built police man comes and tells him to stop at the gun-point, he would not leave the bag a bit. But for me I was ready to sprint off. Without thinking twice, whether I could beat the man or not, I sprang up and ran at him with all my energy. I am not an professional sprinter and I could not run so fast too. But this young man seemed easier than a piece of cake. I caught up with him in a matter of seconds. I still do not know why but I acted so fast and jumped up high in the air and pinned him down. He could not run anymore. he buckled up under my weight and fell with a sickening crunch. I could see his face clearer. It was overturned face of the infamous Mr.Pumpkins. Long back he had threatened the government that he would do a crime without getting caught. And here I caught him red handed! When the police arrived, I was the happiest person and it was one of the proudest moment! Was looking for my mom to get yet another toy for me as a gift!
